Rachael
When Rachael was a little kid her family had a garden in the back yard during the late spring and summer. She can vividly remember helping to plant green beans, tomato plants and pumpkins one year. She helped to pick those same green beans and tomatoes when they were ripe. Her family also planted squash, zucchini, peppers and more. Her favorite gardening memory is the time that Papa (her grandpa) saw a snake while picking green beans. He started yelling and ran out of the garden because he is afraid of snakes. He didn’t return to the garden that day and every time he went to the garden after that he brought the hoe just in case any snakes got too close.
Rachael is excited to experiment with gardening and can’t wait to eat the yummy veggies and fruits that grow!
Jack
Jack is basically along for the ride on this gardening adventure for the veggies and fruits 
While Jack enjoys gardening with Rachael he has several other hobbies including building crazy things and flying that take up most of his free time. Recently, Rachael gave Jack a Venus fly trap plant kit because he mentioned having one when he was small. Jack really liked his Venus fly trap but was unable to find another after his died. This kit he will grow several Venus fly traps from seeds. This will likely become most of his gardening adventure…
